03 / WHAT I LOVE

Everyday Life.

The little things that make a life.

Beyond the lab, I’m usually finding a reason to move, try something unfamiliar, or head outside. Here are a few things that make my days feel like mine.

A ROUTINE I’M STILL BUILDING

Getting stronger, one session at a time

Fitness is something I’m making more room for. I plan my training sessions and repetitions, keep records, and am working toward a more consistent, structured routine. Right now, I’m gradually increasing the weights I use for hip thrusts, shoulder presses, and Bulgarian split squats.

I’m always happy to talk about training routines, swap experiences, and hear what has worked for other people.

THERE’S ALWAYS SOMETHING TO TRY

A soft spot for new things

I love trying interesting new things, from unfamiliar experiences to little objects that make me think, “That looks fun.” I also have a weakness for buying quirky little finds.

I’m currently exploring Codex while building this very website, and I’ve also been trying crystal wire wrapping to make jewellery. I enjoy the process itself — figuring things out, trying them, and seeing what takes shape.

OUT IN THE WORLD

Something I haven’t tried before

Sometimes that means bungee jumping. I filmed the experience and shared it with friends — but what I enjoy most is being there and doing it.

LITTLE REASONS TO GO OUTSIDE

Following the seasons

Different seasons bring different little adventures.

SPRING

Heading out to meet the spring

When spring arrives, we head outdoors for walks and a change of scenery.

SUMMER

A fishing rod and a dip in the sea

Summer is for trying our hand at fishing and going to the beach for a swim.

AUTUMN

Mushroom hunting after the rain

In autumn, we head out after the rain to look for mushrooms — another reason to spend time outdoors.
