Brief Introduction
I’m a Biology MSc graduate from the University of Copenhagen, specializing in Molecular Biology and Genetics. I previously earned a BSc in Biotechnology from Nanjing Agricultural University, where my undergraduate research explored bacterial oxidative stress responses through genetic screening and comparative phenotype analysis. My experience spans mammalian cell culture, qPCR, microbiology, and sample preparation and data review for lipid LC-MS analysis. I enjoy troubleshooting unexpected results, maintaining clear experimental records, and making scientific information accessible to different audiences.
I’m seeking opportunities in laboratory research & development, technical support, and quality-related roles, where I can combine hands-on scientific work with careful documentation, problem solving, and clear communication.

Marketing & Content · Part-timeEvolvee ApS · Saturate SkinSupporting factory inspections and quality review, alongside bilingual communication and social media content.
Factory inspection & quality review. Participated in on-site visits to two factories to review skincare products, packaging, production machinery, and output quality against the brand’s requirements. Joined discussions to clarify product and packaging specifications, reviewed supplier certificates and documentation, and asked about day-to-day quality-control practices.
Bilingual communication & follow-up. Supported English–Chinese communication during factory discussions. Worked with the team to document issues, communicate requested changes to suppliers, and follow up on revisions and final specification details.
Social media & content. Manage Saturate’s Instagram content, with posts also republished on Facebook and Twitter. Write product and skincare-ingredient copy, translating technical information into clear language for consumers.

Sales Associate · Part-timeHouse of AmberSupporting international visitors through bilingual service, tailored recommendations, and day-to-day store operations.
Bilingual customer service. Welcome tourists and assist customers in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Recommend products based on their budget, gift recipient, and personal preferences, adapting explanations to each customer’s needs.
Responding under pressure. During busy periods, assist several customers at once, answer different questions, and prioritize requests while remaining attentive. This work has strengthened my practical problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Independent store operations. Take responsibility for the store during solo shifts, including opening and closing, checkout, stock checks, and handling returns and exchanges.

Master’s Thesis StudentDepartment of Biomedical Sciences · University of CopenhagenExploring N-acyl taurines and their potential role in liver inflammation.
Cell-based research. Investigated the potential effects of N-acyl taurines on liver inflammation using Huh7 cells and primary mouse hepatocytes. Independently maintained Huh7 cultures for seven months with no recorded contamination, measured inflammatory gene expression by qPCR, and compared results in GraphPad Prism.
Lipid analysis & data review. Supported LC-MS work through sample and standard-curve preparation, peak integration, and data review. Interpreted these results alongside the cell experiments to connect lipid measurements with biological responses.
Troubleshooting & documentation. Investigated reduced extraction performance by comparing reagent lots, identified an abnormal lot, and confirmed restored performance after replacement. Documented culture conditions, experimental procedures, and the investigation and follow-up verification.

Undergraduate ResearcherNanjing Agricultural UniversityFrom collaborative microbiology research to my bachelor’s thesis.
Bachelor’s thesis research. Investigated the role of DinF in oxidative stress responses in Klebsiella pneumoniae, using genetic screening and comparative phenotype analysis. Repeated experiments to assess consistency and interpreted findings alongside the relevant literature.
Collaborative SRT project. Worked with fellow students on an exploratory microbiology project examining bacterial responses to growth inhibition by fungal culture products. Shared the experimental work and preparation of the final report with the team.
Scientific communication. Summarized results in weekly reports and discussed research progress in laboratory meetings and undergraduate research activities, developing my ability to explain methods, findings, and uncertainties clearly.

BSc in BiotechnologyNanjing Agricultural UniversityBuilding a foundation in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, and biochemistry.
Scientific foundations. Studied molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, and cell biology, supported by laboratory courses that connected scientific concepts with practical experimental work.
Analytical & communication skills. Built a foundation in bioinformatics, Python programming, and biostatistics, alongside training in scientific literature retrieval and academic writing.
Learning beyond the classroom. Served as Class Monitor and Head of the Sports Department, organizing activities and coordinating student responsibilities. Continued competing in high jump with the university track and field team, balancing academic work with leadership and sport.
